Any excuse to write about Kate Bush is a good one. Especially if it’s about Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God), one of my favourite Kate Bush songs and without doubt one of the best songs ever. The song has been re-recorded and released today (buy it here) as a ” 2012 remix” (don’t worry: it’s not been really remixed - some little changes have been made but it’s still brilliant). It’s nice to hear the Kate Bush of today at the age of 54 sing one of her biggest hits, which she released over 25 years ago. Rumour has it she will also be performing at the Olympics closing ceremony tonight - an event not to be missed.
